The 11th Annual Sweater Fest Moves to Henao this Saturday

I wasn’t sure that the ORL holiday institution known as Sweater Fest would even happen this year. Longtime show runner Dave Hanson left for one of those more western states a while ago and moths ate my sweater back in July–two shots to the heart. But instead of being lost to Semolina Leucotricha, the wool helm was passed to one Bobby Hellmuth, a local musician that happens to look like Jesus, who resurrects the night at the Henao Center. Another addition comes in the form of charity, as proceeds from the show go to benefit the Zebra Coalition, a non-profit that provides essential services for LGBTQA+ youth at risk or in need of a safe haven.

This year performers include Savants of Soul, Someday River, Pleasures, Soapbox Soliloquy, Zap Dragon, FIONA, and my asshole roommate GRANT. Get a taste of what’s to come in the Spotify playist below and check set times so you can avoid the band your ex is in.
